Tietoja Swedbankin sivukonttorista
Swedbank perusti lokakuussa 2005 Helsinkiin oman sivukonttorin. Toiminnan aloittaminen Suomessa on tärkeä osa Swedbank kansainvälistymisstrategiaa. Monet Swedbankin asiakkaista harjoittavat liiketoimintaa Suomessa.
Swedbank has its roots in the Swedish savings bank tradition, which dates back to 1820. Working close with our customers and the local society has been our focus from the start. Our purpose is to promote a sound and sustainable financial situation for the many. This implies working for a balanced economy that ensures the well-being of the individual as well as society as a whole.
Swedbank is a full-service bank for both private individuals and companies in the home markets Sweden, Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania. Our core business serves a majority of private individuals as well as small- and medium-sized companies. We believe in a traditional banking model focused on close customer relationships and personal advice. Our focus is our customers’ needs and wishes – not our products.
We have 9.5 million private customers and 657 000 corporate customers with about 320 branches in Sweden and 220 branches in the Baltic countries as of 30 June 2011. The group is also present in Copenhagen, Helsinki, Kaliningrad, Luxembourg, Marbella, Moscow, New York, Oslo, Shanghai, St. Petersburg and Ukraine. As of June 2011, the balance sheet amounted to SEK 1 758 billion and the number of employees totaled about 17 000.
