Cash Management

Swedbank offers a broad range of Cash Management services. As a customer, you have access to these services via our Internet bank, available in Finnish, Swedish and English. Swedbank also offers communication via a bank link program in accordance with the Finnish standard.

The Payment Services Act and SEPA bring changes to the Finnish payment traffic

The Payment Services Act to be implemented 1.5.2010 in Finland

 

The Payment Services Act will fulfil the departments III and IV acts assigned in the single market directive (2007/64/EY). The Finnish Government has decided to make a proposal 1.10.2009 regarding the Payment Services Act. According to the proposal the act will be implemented 1.5.2010.
 

SEPA = Single Euro Payments Area

The transfer to a unified single payment area will also mean the usage of a new international payment standard and the usage of international account numbers in Finland. The previous national standards will be replaced with new by the end of 2010.

The Sepa Payment

  SEK PAYMENTS
  Please note that from June 4th, 2009 onwards IBAN and BIC must be used when making SEK payments to any country within European Union. This means also that BankGiro number nor PlusGiro number cannot be used anymore when making SEK payments to Sweden.
   
  EXPRESS PAYMENT
  The price of an outgoing electronic express payment will be 15€ each from the beginning of November 2009.
